1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between page loads. Similar technologies such as local storage do the same job. Some are needed for a site to work. Others exist to measure traffic or to target advertising.
2. Our position
We do not load anything that tracks you unless you say yes first. When you arrive, nothing but the strictly necessary item below is stored. Analytics and advertising tags stay switched off until you press Accept on the cookie banner, and if you press Reject they stay off and we do not ask again.
3. What we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| architech_consent | Local storage | Remembers your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear on every visit | 12 months |
This one item cannot be switched off, because without it we have no way to remember that you said no. It stores nothing but your choice and a date. It does not identify you.
If you buy a package, Stripe sets its own cookies on the Stripe checkout page for fraud prevention and to complete the payment. Those are strictly necessary for the transaction you asked for and are governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Analytics (off until you accept)
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Counts visits and shows which pages and referrers bring people to the site | Up to 24 months |
Marketing (off until you accept)
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp, fr | Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Measures which of our social ads led to enquiries, and lets us show ads to people who have visited | Up to 3 months |
Analytics and marketing tags are only present on the site when they have been configured and you have accepted. If either section is empty in practice, nothing from it is loaded.
4. Other third party content
The home page loads its stylesheet framework from a content delivery network, cdn.tailwindcss.com. Making that request tells the delivery network your IP address and browser type, which is unavoidable for any externally hosted file. It sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. The legal pages you are reading now load no external files at all.
The video on the home page is hosted by us. There is no YouTube, Vimeo, Google Maps, chat widget or social embed on this site, so none of those providers receive anything about you.
5. Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of the home page to reopen the banner and change your choice at any time. You can also clear site data in your browser, which removes the stored choice and shows you the banner again on your next visit.
Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies for all sites through its settings. Blocking strictly necessary items may stop parts of some websites working, though on this site the only effect is that the banner returns each visit.
6. Changes
If we add a new cookie or a new provider we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again. The date at the top shows when this page last changed.
